Hydes Air Conditioning & Electrical Gives Back

In Community Interest, Local Industry Specialists

Hydes is a third-generation, family-owned company providing AC, Heating & Electrical Services in the Coachella Valley.

Although Hydes has been installing and servicing air conditioning systems since 1980, Brian Hyde started the company as an appliance repair business in Orange County in 1972. Since many of his customers also had second homes in the Palm Desert area, he established a second Hydes branch in Palm Desert. Brian’s sons Barry, Michael, and Mark are now owners, and Brian’s grandchildren all work at Hydes. Hydes has managed to grow year after year for one simple reason: a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

In 2017, in honor of our 45th year in business, we started the Celebration of Giving. We wanted to give back something special Hydes Air Conditioning & Electrical Gives Back to our community and use our talents and resources to give to those in need in the Coachella Valley. We were so touched by this experience that we wanted to bring this back every year!

One of the hardest things our technicians encounter is when a homeowner has no means to replace or repair their heating or cooling system. It hits home. For this reason, we will continue to celebrate the opportunity to give back to our community with our yearly “Celebration of Giving.”

This will be our fifth year that we have the privilege of donating a new air conditioning system to someone in our community. Please help us help others by nominating a friend, neighbor, or family in need.

Go to hydesac.com/celebration-of-giving/ to nominate. Nominations accepted April 12-May 31, 2021. We will notify the recipient of the Celebration of Giving by June 14, 2021.
