Today Chef Ly is going to teach you how to make Garlic Salmon with Fried Rice!

Garlic Salmon:

  • 1 thick SALMON fillet
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of raw garlic (depending on taste or preference)
  • 1 teaspoon or to your preference of lava salt
  • A sprinkle of chicken powder. Directions
  1. Cut the salmon butterfly style cut, about an inch thickness. Use a wok to fry. Heat the wok up until very hot. First pour the oil and the butter and then immediately put the salmon in the wok. Stir fry the salmon for 3 min on one side. Then turn the salmon to fry the other side. Cook for 2 to 2 1⁄2 min – not longer – unless you like it well done. Then take the salmon out of the wok.
  2. Lower the fire on the wok until is very low. Cook the garlic until it is brown. Once brown, take out of the heat so it does not burn.
  3. Place the salmon on the serving dish or your plate. Pour or spread the garlic on top of the salmon. Sprinkle the salmon with black pepper, the chicken powder and lava salt. Eat while warm and sprinkle with natural lime juice right before eating.

Fried Rice:

  • 1 cup steamed rice
  • Soy Sauce as preferred.
  • 1 egg
  • 1⁄4 green onions
  • 1 tablespoon oilBeat the egg and fry it in the wok at low to medium heat, then addthe green onions. Lastly add the steamed rice and soysauce and mix.
