Letter from the Editor, April 2021

In Letter from the Editor

Dear Readers,

Leading up to April 2021 there has been a new feeling of hope and optimism in the air. With both an increase in vaccinations, and the loosening of public health restrictions there are new opportunities for residents of the Sun City communities to meet-up, socialize and even plan a dinner date. This is exemplified by this month’s featured resident Betty Ekmanian Smith, a Sun City Palm Desert resident whose support of S.O.S. Ride proves that a continued optimism in your golden years can be a powerful source of hope to others.

With the lifting of restrictions our local businesses have also seen new hope with an uptick in business. As many peoples pocketbooks grow with the stock market, and an increased savings from less spending on travel and entertainment, things like home improvements have definitely been a part of many peoples plans over the last year. This month, both Remodel Door and Reliable Roofing have contributed to our magazine with some great ways to invest in your home. Also, the Jelmberg Team has provided insight into how the Coachella Valley real estate market continues to perform at record levels.

It is our sincere hope that the optimism seen so far will only grow and expand and a return to normal for the Sun City communities will be sooner rather than later.

Thank you for your hope, optimism and continued support of the Sun City Insider.

Call today to get your free photoshoot and have your story shared with these fantastic communities!
